Cooperation Agreement with Kitagata Town

Gifu University and Kitagata Town concluded a cooperation agreement on November 20, 2015.

Under this agreement, the two institutions will build a comprehensive and close cooperative relationship in a variety of fields, and strengthen the partnership in a sustainable and constructive manner. By so doing, the institutions aim to form and further develop a vigorous community and contribute to the cultivation of human resources that will play central roles in the future. Gifu University has been building such relationships with municipalities in Gifu Prefecture, and this is the 12th agreement with a local government.
The signing ceremony was held at the Kitagata Town Office. Mr. Hideo Muroto, Mayor of Kitagata Town gave a speech stating, "We have received various forms of cooperation from Gifu University for the growth and development of Kitagata Town. I hope we can deepen our cooperative relationship under this agreement." President Hisataka Moriwaki replied, "We will be able to advance our partnership in multiple fields from the perspectives of not only of education and research, but also regional contribution and glocalization."

Gifu University and Kitagata Town will work together in a number of fields starting with the development of a safe and secure community.
