On Wednesday, September 10, Gifu University held the 2^nd Meeting of Selected Schools under the Center of Community (COC) Program at Gifu University Satellite Campus.

The 1^st meeting was conducted by Gifu University's call, and 9 national, public and private schools selected under the FY2013 COC program participated in the meeting last October. It was decided to hold the meeting regularly as it is important to share useful information such as each school's efforts and challenges among selected universities.
Newly-selected 4 schools under the FY2014 COC program joined in the 2^nd meeting, and in total 35 staff members from 13 schools attended. Particularly newly-selected school members asked a lot of questions including the situation after the COC program started and innovative efforts other schools have made, and the participants actively exchanged information.

In the meeting, a new proposal for student exchange projects using the network of 13 participating universities was made, and the participating schools agreed to work together on the COC program.
