Lecture/New Residency management system and New Resident Registration System for Foreign Residents was held on May 30, 2012 at Gifu University, in cooperation with Nagoya immigration bureau and Gifu City Hall. About 200 international student and researcher were attended this lecture at this time.

All the participants were able to study the new rules and procedures for both systems starting from July 9 with Chinese and English translations.

After the lecture, participants asked many questions regarding the new both systems such as new residency card and specific procedures for resident registration.

The lecture turned out to be quite a successful event before the system amendment on July 9th.
