Teacher Education Course of Graduate School of Education, Gifu University and Gifu Prefectural Board of Education co-hosted a "Gifu Prefecture School Administrator Workshop" on June 26, 2017. The workshop is designed to provide training for school administrators (primarily vice principals). Approximately 180 teaching staff and curriculum coordinators participated in the workshop from across Gifu Prefecture.

Firstly, Professor Kenji Tsuyuguchi of Ehime University gave a speech on leadership, which was followed by lectures by teachers at Teacher Education Course, Gifu University. The themes were "Educational Reform," "Education-Related Laws," and "Organization Management." Lastly, an achievement assessment of individual participants was conducted.

It is hoped that the workshop will help the participants enhance their teaching skills and quality as school administrators in their respective workplaces.
