President Moriwaki appears on a Gifu Broadcasting System TV program, "Showa Garakuta (Bits and Pieces) Theater"

On June 30, 2016, a Gifu Broadcasting System TV program titled, "Showa Garakuta (Bits and Pieces) Theater" was taped. President Hisataka Moriwaki of Gifu University was invited to appear on the program for some informal talking with the hosts.

President Moriwaki was invited to appear the program by Mr. Mikio Sugiyama, Honorary Chair, Gifu Shimbun Newspaper and President of Gifu Broadcasting System Inc. when he was given a Commendation of Gifu University Alumni Association President at the 67th Foundation Anniversary of Gifu University on June 1, 2016. During his keynote speech at the Anniversary, Mr. Sugiyama proposed President Moriwaki to join the TV program for some casual conversations with him.

The "Showa Garakuta (Bits and Pieces) Theater" is featured with totally unexpected development of talks between hosts and guests. It has no scenario or script. In every episode, hosts and guests share the good old days of the Showa Period (1926-1989) and together send a message for the world today.

The taping on June 30 started quite smoothly with a friendly exchange between Su-san (Mr. Sugiyama) and Oka-chan (Mr. Minoru Okada). President Moriwaki's brief introduction of Gifu University and his recalling of old memories added warmth to the program.
The program goes on air from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on July 10.
Please tune in to "Showa Garakuta Theater".
