A ceremony to accept a donation to Gifu University Fund was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014.

　At the ceremony, Hisataka Moriwaki, Gifu University President, received a donation from Mr. Masami Tashiro, Representative Director and President of Valor Co., Ltd. Mr. Tashiro expressed hope to support education of motivated students with the donation in five years from 2014 to 2018. Responding to that, President Moriwaki said with sincere gratitude that the donation Gifu University receives from Valor Co., Ltd. will be used for educational programs to cultivate human resources can contribute to global society.
　Dr. Fumiaki Suzuki, Executive Director in charge of International Affairs and Public Relations, also outlined how the funding is to be used. Gifu University will establish "Overseas Study Program supported by Valor and V Drug" aiming to support students who are willing to study overseas in order to have an international perspective.
